TaylorMade Golf, a global leader in golf innovation, unveiled its revolutionary Qi35 lineup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during a prestigious two-day event that brought together over 300 distinguished guests from Greater China and Southeast Asia. Attendees included industry leaders, distributors, media, guests, and TaylorMade ambassadors across 10 countries including China, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Myanmar and Malaysia.
Yesterday, guests indulged in an exclusive welcome dinner at The Estate on Federal Hill, a colonial heritage site offering panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous selection of Malaysian delicacies, including a durian feast, and were treated to a vibrant Borneo cultural performance. Supported by Tourism Malaysia, the evening showcased the nation’s rich culture and renowned hospitality.
The Qi35 lineup was officially launched at the St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. During his presentation alongside Raymund Ghin, Assistant Director of TaylorMade Product for GCA & SEA, Brian Coffman emphasised the brand’s commitment to innovation, stating,
“The Qi35 lineup embodies TaylorMade’s relentless pursuit of excellence and is designed to elevate every golfer’s experience. We are thrilled to unveil these groundbreaking products to the Southeast Asian market, a region that continues to embrace and grow the game of golf.”
The new range, designed to “Unlock Another Level” of golfing performance, features drivers, fairways, and hybrids, including the Qi35, Qi35 LS, Qi35 Max, and Qi35 Max Lite. Incorporating advanced technologies such as the Infinity Carbon Crown and Twist Face, the lineup redefines golf equipment standards by delivering exceptional distance, forgiveness, and adjustability tailored to diverse player needs.
Following the launch, attendees convened at MST Golf Arena, a state-of-the-art indoor golf entertainment venue, for live product demonstrations and a press conference. Brian Bazzel highlighted the product’s advanced capabilities, stating, “At TaylorMade, we have been pushing the envelope of forgiveness, and in Qi35, we have taken it to yet another level. The true breakthrough is delivering this new level of forgiveness with even more distance and enhanced launch conditions. Golfers later proceeded to Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) for a round of golf on the world-class East and West Courses. Decked in TaylorMade apparel and utilising TP5 golf balls, golfers experienced the Qi35 lineup in real-world play, underscoring the product’s capabilities.
