What PXG Say:
New PXG 0211 XCOR2 Irons make cutting-edge club technology affordable for a wide audience of golfers. Created using some of our most advanced innovations, 0211 XCOR2 Irons deliver incredible distance, much-needed forgiveness, and consistency you can count on. Presented in a clean, approachable design, the progressive set features varied blade length, offset, and bounce, for greater forgiveness in harder-to-hit long irons and maximum control in shorter irons. Built-to-spec, PXG 0211 XCOR2 Irons are available in Chrome and Xtreme Dark finish.

Features & Benefits:

  • XCOR2 Technology - A result of years of research and development, XCOR2 is PXG’s revolutionary polymer core material. Extremely lightweight, XCOR2 helps reduce the mass of the core. This enables more weight to be positioned low and to the perimeter of the backside of the clubhead, dramatically increasing MOI and forgiveness. Combined with our ultra-thin face technology, XCOR2 enhances the C.O.R. for extreme face deflection and out of sight ball speed.
  • Progressive Set Design - The clubs feature progressive offset, blade length and bounce for an ideal blend of accuracy and distance across the irons set. The ideal amount of offset is influenced by the blade length. The longer the blade length, the greater the offset, which works to help golfers deliver the clubhead square at impact. The amount of bounce required for the clubhead to enter the turf and glide through the grass without digging varies by club length. Low lofted clubs (4,5,6) have less bounce than the high lofted clubs (G,S,L).
  • Power Channel Technology - Power Channel Technology is the proprietary U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the face to increase deflection and bend in the top sector. The channel creates face movement and transfers energy to simultaneously increases launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.
  • Angled Top Rail - Power Channel Technology is the proprietary U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the face to increase deflection and bend in the top sector. The channel creates face movement and transfers energy to simultaneously increases launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.
  • Ultra-Thin Face - The clubface is made from an HT 1770 maraging stainless steel using a cold roll manufacturing process combined with an aged heat treatment method. This produces an extremely tight grain structure and higher-strength performance than what can be achieved through the traditional forging process. This advanced material and process is one of the attributes that enables PXG to deliver the thinnest clubface in golf, measuring a mere 0.058" (~1.55mm) thick.
  • Robotic Polishing Technology - The clubface is made from an HT 1770 maraging stainless steel using a cold roll manufacturing process combined with an aged heat treatment method. Our Recommended Player Profile:
Designed to replace the highly acclaimed 0211 DC model the new XCOR2 refines PXG's thin face technology creating irons that are as hot off the face as anything we have ever seen. They are built for distance, yet are packaged into a sleek clean looking head profile. It is best suited for the mid-to-high handicap player due to its distance properties, however even lower handicappers will enjoy it's visual appeal.
